injection pump

my truck has been parked because i am waiting on the wheel bearing nut. i started it up just to let it run and got the idea i was going to mess wil the smoke screw. i adjusted it in maybe a turn and a half from where i had it and went to go start the truck and it wouldnt crank over? i adjusted it back to where i had it or pretty darn close and it still wont crank over. is this just adjustments with the power screw and idle screw? i will try again here in a bit just to see what happens. TIA. i really need to get it running soon though

Messing with the smoke screw will not cause any trouble starting.

It's probably the starter contacts. Try whacking the starter with a hammer with an assistant trying to crank the truck.

i figured it out. i went back and checked everything over it was a wire with a bad connector. (will have to be replaced eventually) but thanks wanna! i didnt think messing with the adjustments would mess up the starting.
