Can you get the oil pan off without raising the motor

If your oil pressure is actually low, pull the housing that holds the oil filter off the side of the engine. You will need to drain your antifreeze to do this, as that is your antifreeze cooled oil cooler under that cover.

Anyway, just about in the middle of the housing once you have it out, you will find an overflow bypass valve. They fail once in a while and are easy to punch out and replace. All Cummins Service Centers carry the valve replacements, and they are very inexpensive.
