help Fuel Pressure going crazy

It has been doing this like crazy for a while now. I changed the Fuel Filter already. I am woundering if the fuel pressure that is with the commander is going bad? for a while it was about 16 to 18 psi. But right now it is from 11 down to 0 psi when i floor it it dropes down alot. I am going to go change the strainer right now but does anybody have anything else they think it might be. My sig will tell you what i have on it.

injection pump? Do you have a stock lift pump and filter setup just with a walbro inline with that?

I had this same problem on mine, but I drove it cautiosly for a day or so, then it was fine. Only happened a few times, and it seemed to be right after I unplugged the Juice module. I know you don't have that, but it's a thought. How long has it been going on?

is been going for a while about two weeks off and on. and the injection pump is new well not new but refurbished i just changed it about three or four months ago. All i have is the glacier inline pump and the new injector pump. I do have the stock fuel filter going to the injection pump. I only have the inline pump on it.

Is it a mechanical fp sensor or electronic?

Mine got water in it once when I pressure washed the engine compartment.

The moisture made it read erratic for about a week before I finally figured it out.

I would test the FP with a mechanical gauge before I got alarmed. With the electronic, three things can go wrong: the sender itself, the wire can get chafed or corroded, and the unit itself can be faulty. Double check with a mech pressure gauge. This may save you a lot of effort if your fuel system turns out to be Ok, just the gauge could be bad.

cool ill do that. I put all this on about three months ago the fuel pressure guage is new and so is everything else in my fuel system. when i had the stock lift pump it died and killed my injection pump so i had to put all this stuff on. i put the inline pump and a new injection pump and the commander to monitor everything on the motor. ill tell you when i realy started getting problems was when i was checking for boost leaks i sprayed soapy water and i got some on that sensor and after that the fuel pressure started going crazy. After a while it stoped then it started again. its wierd the other day I pulled a trailer and man it realy felt that i did not have that much power you would think that by having everything i have i would have some power i realy think there is something going on since my boost jumps around so much it does not stay anywhere. at 70 mph the boost jumps around from 0 to 10 its crazy and i am not even sure where to check for boodt looks. i tried to close the wastgate but that did not help. Well ill check it with a mechanical on and see what happens.

where did you buy your pump or get it rebuilt? I would try going back to just the stock lines and hardware to make sure it not the add on stuff. if the pump was not built properly, sticking rack or blown diaphragm in air control on pump could be your problem. how is your turbo?
Do not buy anything from a place called Diesel Care & performance in memphis tn !!!! they are cleaning up cores and selling them as rebuilt
spread the word this place if selling junk their ebay store is full of lies I know hundreds of people across the US that have been ripped off by them !!!!!

well there is no way that it could be the add on stuff i mean the only add on stuff i have is the hoses that go from the lift pump to filter and then the injection pump i got it from Performance Diesel Warehouse. I kind of doubt it that it would be the injection pump.

they had a recall on some of the senders. i replaced 2 lp thinking they were bad, when it was my sending unit.

Do you have a pre filter before the Glacier pump? if not, you should check the inlet sceen in the pump it might be clogged. Mine did the same thing and it ended up being that I got some dirty fuel somewhere and it was restricting my filter.
