Re:yoo hoo Don M
Actually I think it has been a progressive thing that finally let go.
I noticed last week that my boost was lower and staying at 45 max as opposed to 50.
On Saturday during a run on 5/5 I was only able to get 41 and then there was a small puddle of oil which I traced to the oil return line from the turbo and the clamp was very loose so I concluded that was the problem. Cleaned off the engine and there was no more drip. Then, today it was dry and then after a short 10-15 mph 3 or 4 block run...oil on the ground and the engine was at operating temp. :'(

No [censored] was involved. Its puking it out so it not gonna get started til its fixed now.

Its time for porting and o-ringing and the Don M head gasket.

;D

Scotty:

Sorry to hear about your truck!!

I went through it in January so I definitely know
how you feel! I was racing a Ford PSD when mine
blew and I immediately smelled antifreeze and oil!
It was squirting out right under the #1 cylinder
and #3 was getting ready to blow too! It "sealed
up" enough for me to "limp it" up to Scheid Diesel
and they fixed it for me.

Anyway, good luck on your repairs. I highly
recommend the "ARP Case Hardened Studs"
Scotty!

--------
John_P
