engine trouble

engine trouble

i need help figuring out why my truck has so much blow by and burns so much oil, and also why i have to touch the gas pedal in order for it to start

Check for a vacuum leak. Leaky vacuum lines will cause the vacuum pump to pump a lot of air into the crankcase.

It's normal to have to touch the pedal to get a p-pumped truck to start.
