Emergency please help loud siren and later whining noise with white smoke out of engi

I've got a 2008 6.7 Cummins Laramie that I recently purchased. I am very new to Dodges I've only had Ford and Chevy diesels. No mechanic am I just poor and having to figure things out on my own. When I purchased this truck the man told me he had hollowed out the equivalent of the catalytic converter and blocked off the EGR crossover. I dd not know what any of this meant just that he said that it would run better like this. Me truck ran great on the way home and for about a week and one morning it started fine an hour later I started it again and it started with a loud siren noise that got louder with throttle I let idle for about 10 minutes when I noticed that a red lightning bolt symbol on the dash. when I tried to move the truck it would barely pull itself, the temperature gauge also started to rise past the halfway mark of 200 and that's when I shut it off waited a few minutes and started it back up and it had no noise other than that of the serpentine belt and ran fine the rest of the day. The next day it started with siren nouse again. this time it took about 15 starts before it started without the whistle. It never showed the Red symbol again. When it starts without the whistle, it starts and runs fine. It intermittently did this for about 4 or 5 days. After talking to my nephew 5 hours away who is Cummins certified, I checked the turbo to verify that it was turning without hitting the housing and it checked out good. there was oil residue inside the housing I cleaned that put it back together and then removed the block out of the EGR crossover tube. It was a tin can lid. after I removed this i started it back up it started with the whistle, same issues with Rising temp gauge so I shut it back off start it later that day and it started fine and it has run and started well for 4 days. I thought the problem was fixed. Just to be on the safe side I disconnected the battery cables let it set for 15 minutes. also took a compressor and sprayed out the fins of the coolers in the front of the engine as best I could. I reconnected everything and started the engine and it started with a whine that got higher and louder as I tried to accelerate. This time it cut out at 1,000 RPMs and would not pull itself backwards or forwards. White smoke started coming out of the engine bay with attempted acceleration. This time no matter how many restarts it still starts and acts the same way. The only thing I can think of is that the crossover tube is missing gaskets on both ends and maybe and when I unblocked the EGR crossover possible junk from the DPF got through and did something to something else in the engine. I have no idea I was just wondering if anybody could tell me what I should try or what should I clean that might have been affected by debri from the particulate filter? What can I do to fix this problem? no water leaks that I can see and no loss of water no oil leaks. the truck has 186,000 miles on it. Please dont judge my inexperienced and naivity please I am doing all I can to make ends meet so I don't have the luxury of hiring a mechanic to come to my house where it's stuck and don't have another vehicle to haul it to a mechanic. Diesel mechanics are few and far between around here.. is there something I can do to clean out whatever particles may have gotten through the crossover into the motor.? I don't even know if that's how that works. Only thing I can think may have happened

I have five codes to share here hoping that someone will know if these cards have anything to do with the issues I'm having. These codes were there before the last issue popped up.
