Driver's door won't unlock!!!
 

...All other doors will unlock but the driver's door will not unlock using the remote or the key. There is no sound and the key won't turn.

I have removed the lock/latch unit but cannot get it to function. My 3/36 is expired as it happened at just under 41,000 miles so warranty is out.

Suggestions on where to get a replacement other than dealer hopefully.

That should be readily available at a salvage yard for cheap. You will need to get it re-keyed at a locksmith though. Should not be an expensive job.

BZZZZZZZ! incorrect answer. Guy has a DR body and needs a door latch assy. The power lock mech has binded up and is part of the latch. I would get a new one as the part has superceded a few times. You go to the "recycler" and you may end up with the same pos you have now.

Thanks for the replys. I started checking salvage and there wasn't much available in my area that I could find. So I did go to the dealer just to "price" it out. Turned out to be just under $50 with tax. I went ahead and ordered it.
