Cummins does not warranty these motors Dodge does. Dodge buys these motors with no warranty.

If you honestly have never done any mods to the engine, and you are under the warranty miles, there are warranty procedures outlined in your owners manual. Follow them to the letter and keep records of letters and phone calls. If all that fails find the greasiest, greediest lawyer in the area and go for the big bucks.

My buddy has an 06 that had an injector fail and they covered it. In fact I believe they changed all of them.He had a super chips tuner and removed the tune before he brought it in. No hassle whatsoever. I believe we are starting to see the hammer fall with all the big 3 money problems! I have an 03 that had some excessive turbo noise at 81k and they put a new turbo on it.I paid $106.00 deductable (6.00 tax) and just last week I recieved the $106.00 back from the Dodge dealer.Which means Cummins warrantied the turbo! When I bought my truck,I was told that cummins warranties the motor and all motor related parts for 100,000 miles.NOT DODGE That is why my trans was not covered at 80k (7yr/70,000) but the turbo was. You need to find a dealer that actually likes to sell AND service Dodge products. That should be covered.
Dont take no for an answer!
By the way, my warranty service was done only 3 months ago,and I had gauges ,exhaust and a built trans when I went in.(took the TST off!)my friends was done last spring. So it is your dealer that is not going the extra mile to make this right.

call crysler customer service, they have the list of all componets under warranty. the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty is a cummins factory warranty.
