AC doesn't blow like before
 

Ok, I have an 03 3500. Went on vacation and let the little bro drive it[duhhh]

Now when I turn up the fan, it sounds the same but the amount of air is reduced by half. The AC still gets cold however the volume of air is reduced.

Any ideas?

Recirculation door. Mine broke Thursday. Just pulled the broken door out minutes ago. Called the dealer. $43 part. Part number quoted was 68004226-AB.

Welcome to the club. Do a search for recirc door. :cool:

That would also be my first guess. You can take the glove box out by pulling in the rear corners.

From there you can see the recirc intake grille, and the door in there. My bet is that it is broken.

You can remove it by removing the fan motor.

Thanks, that was the problem. I read in a few other posts how to replace it. They said it should take 35 minutes. I guess I'm not as fast. I had to take apart way more than they had instructed, but it's done and works great.
