Got a call last night at 9PM from the shop. Lift pump is in, pressurizing the system from the tank end will get fuel to the filter but drains back to the tank. Repeated again about the lines, he is going to check them more thoroughly, he is also checking the one way check valve on the pump since the new one did not come with it, making sure the cam lobe is still intact and verifying he did not get a bad pump from NAPA. Because he stayed until at least 9 last night and sounded quite irritated about not being able to fix the problem when promised (offered me a rental car) I will give him 1 more day.

They finally listened!! Pressurized the lines this morning and found a crack in the water sensor at the bottom of the fuel filter. No other leaks at all. The dealer didn't get the parts up in time and I'm leaving to go ice fishing so I'll get it Mon.
