This is for my brother. Installed transgo in 96 4x4. All is installed correctly but wont shift into gear. Like no pressure. Let it idle for 10 mins in N then check fluid, its full. Pulled the VB back out and verify its good. Put it back in, drop it in gear but I doesn't feel like its in gear. Have to get it up to 2000+ RPM before it will begin to move at all. Even then its not driveable. Any ideas?

all i can say is maybe a check ball didn't get put in the right place, or got lost

They are all the right spot. First thing that got checked. I think the VB isn't sealed properly.

I have the same problem with my truck really new too all the mechanic work ....lol why was the 1st thing a transmission idk but could there be anything else wrong

really sounds like gov.pressure transducer has failed will not shift and may be in failsafe,high failure rate ive been diag and building transmissions for 28 yrs all makes must scan pcm and really need to watch data on desired gov press and actual. Gov pressure must start soon as tires start to turn, if lazy slow to respond replase both gov.press sol and transducer dodghe revised the pressure transducer 4 times still cheap plastic one will fail if bumped on table during v.body rebuild also check OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR IN O/D HOUSING.
