05 Losing oil fast, I can't pin point the leak. Thought it was rear main, but no oil inside tranny inspection cover. Tranny oil cooler is covered in oil. So just guessing it might be the valve cover. What else is there behind the fuelfilter that might leak.

No oil in the tranny inspection area should rule out the cam seal. I accidentally nicked my valve cover gasket the last time I reset the valves and it did leak quite a bit of oil. You might check that if you've had the cover off recently. Other than that I can't really help you out much. Hope you get it located and fixed. Keep us posted.

Ordered a new gasket from cummins, so I can try that. Had it off about a year ago when I did the injectors. The gasket doesn't look that bad though, not for the amount of oil.

Are your valve cover bolts tight? That too would cause an oil leak but that much in such a short distance kinda has me stumped. I'd clean the engine very thoroughly and start from there. That kind of a leak should be visible if the engine is clean.
