If your injectors are bad do you need to replace the injector nozzles or the whole injector? This maybe a very dumb question but I am new to injector trouble

normally on the 03 the insides of the injector go bad allowing the fuel to return to the tank and not allow pressure to build up. had them go bad both ways and the tips have been worn out do to poor filtration and use of a quad box

What you need to do is remove the injectors and have them inspected and tested. you can have an injector efficeincy(sp) test done at a Dealer, but that will just point out the bad injector... maybe, it will not tell you what's wrong with it.

You could have one with a cracked tip, one with a cracked body, or both, or debris from poor filtration, leaky cross tubes, any number of issues.

Once it has been determined to positively be the injectors, I would send, or have them sent to Formula 1 to be rebuilt. I understand Industrial Injection also rebuilds them, and possibly Dynomite Diesel. I am sure there are more, just not familiar with them.
