2001 Flow Direction on filter housing

I am removing a fass pump and reinstalling a stock pump and filter housing on a 2001 Dodge 3500. The housing was removed a couple of years ago and can't remember the flow direction on the filter housing. Does the line from the stock pump go to the bottom or top of the filter housing? Thanks

LP connects to the top. Bottom line goes to VP44.

Thanks for the information. Just in case anyone is wondering why I am removing the Fass system. I am going to trade in the trunk and my brother wants the Fass pump. The Fass pump still works great and so does the truck. Over 230,000 miles on the truck and the only problem I had was the dash. The dash cracked than just fell apart. It sure turned a great truck into an ugly A** truck in a hurry. Every time I get in the truck I ask myself if I want another Dodge. Anyone know how much I will lose on the trade in because of the dash?
