have a 2000 dodge 1ton diesel while driving started slowing down and felt like running on 3 cyl. pulled off the road and truck died changed fuel filter no help with filter out key on no fuel goes into fuel filter housing and i pushed in on the 2 test port fitting while cranking and no fuel comes out was woundering if it is the electric lift pump or what any help wpould be apperciated ty

 

sounds like electric pusher pump
if u bump key/starter the pump dosent fill up filter probably pusher gone bad............or your outta fuel on empty.
