03 ram 3500 5.9L smoking
Truck was sitting for about a year. Turbo was out and needed new intercooler.. All was replaced yesterday. Refilled all fluids. Coolant was extremely low. took two gallons. Drove the truck about a mile and started smoking...Almost a blueish color..popped the hood open and it looked like water sprayed all over battery? Have any idea what could be the problem?? Is my turbo watercooled?

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Where was the smoke coming from? The exhaust or from the engine bay?
Your turbo is not water cooled. You say that the turbo was replaced, so have you checked that the oil lines are not leaking?
This liquid that is over the battery, does it have any antifreeze in it? What does it smell like?

Going to take a guess and say that the two situations that you have are not related. You said that it took 2 gallons of coolant, so that possibly is indicative of a coolant leak. Which side was this mysterious fluid? If it on the left, could you have overfilled the system, including the overflow bottle? If so, then perhaps as the engine warmed up and the coolant expanded, it blew out? More likely you have a leak, possibly the top rad hose. Suggest that you refill the coolant, let everything dry off and let the engine idle until it gets warm. Keep a close eye on it and watch for leaks. IF THE ENGINE IS RUNNING, KEEP HANDS AND TOOLS WELL AWAY FROM THE FAN AND BELT!!!!
As for the smoke, suggest that as the engine has sat for so long that you drive it for a bit longer and see if the smoke clears up. Just maybe you have a stuck ring or two and driving it will release anything stuck. Drive it for a few miles at full operating temperature. If the smoke does not clear up, then obviously there could be other problems such as a bad turbo, but to diagnose that is another subject.
Let us know what you find.

When the engine is cold and not running look for traces of white residue on the exhaust manifold and just above it along the length of the engine as well as below the exhaust manifold.
