Go to the gas station or grocery store and pick up the "Big truck Trader" classified paper. There are several engine dealers that have tons of these engines for sale. Youll have no problem finding one or many in there.

I've seen them ebay also. I think good (used) swap candidates are usually running for about $2000 on ebay. A lot of them come with the TH400 tranny attached. I'm not positive about the power, but I think some are running about 275hp and 500ftlbs torque when fixed up

Exclamation ?

Im trying to figure out what UPS trucks have in them. Sounds like a Cummins.
Anyone know ? There is a yard they use here in PA where trucks only come in on a flat bed. Dont sure what they do with the powertrains after a wreak.

There are about a half dozen coming up for bid near Philadelphia from FritoLay:

Yup, like everywhere else you have to read the fine print. It's 16% if you put it on a credit card. They also have a hidden reserve but lower it if nobody is bidding on it. The 16% is what I consider as insurance in case you bid on a 4bt and find out that is was actually a 6.5 GM engine. You then let your credit card company do the battle for you. I have 2 vans that came thru Dove Bid. Both were driveable home. Both were under $2K each. Trouble is the supply is limited. Last March there were over a hundred. This month there are six and listed as scrap.
