5-40W turbo diesel synthetic. Can't find it in stock anywhere in the LA area. Pep Boys has EVERY othe mobil 1 product....

 

Try Walmart.

 

Costco sometimes has Delo...

 

Some Dodge dealers carry it.

 

my local walmart carries it- but i read a couple posts another site from members saying their walmart's have stopped carrying it-that it will be a nation wide thing, when the stock runs out-we'll see.

 

autozone has it but it is $$$

Costco is having a sale on Mobil now,it's in their new flyer.

 

Saw that...But the one delivered to my house specified 10W30 and 5W30.
Not to say that they don't carry it, but I've never seen diesel-rated M1 at Costco.

 

Neither have I, in AZ that is.

What's the difference in the Mobil 1 oils?

I'm kind of an oil is oil guy if you buy the correct weight.

Synthetic oils pour easier in freezing (sub-zero) temps and hold up to high heat (turbo) applications MUCH better than conventional oils. They also don't break down as fast as conventional oils.

The mobil1 he's looking for is one of the better oils.

Diesel oils have extra additives for soot dispersal and acid neutralization, among other things.

Oil is NOT oil. But if you use any CI-4 rated 15w-40 oil, you'll be fine.
