What are the weights of Dana 70s and 80s?
 

I'm running a Dana 80 with disk brakes and never got a good measurment on the scale. It seems to be much heavier than my old Dana 70.......maybe 150 lbs? Just wondering if the drum brake Dana 80s are lighter than disc versions and if the same weight difference applies to the Dana 70s?

I can't answer your question but I also found my Dana 80 to be way heavier than the Dana 70. I think my 80 is more like 250 lbs heavier but that is a guess.
