what do you all think about this deal?

here's the deal. i have a 1999 jeep wrangler with 160xxx miles, manual, hard top, slider windows reciever hitch, and new bfg all terans on it. im going to trade the jeep for a 1998 dodge ctd with 270,xxx miles, rebuilt 5 speed manual, dually 2wd, with a walk in tool box on the back. i have a business so this truck will be very useful to me. but the dodge needs new tires on the back. i have been trying to sell the jeep for $6000.00 but not with much luck.
hes gonna give me $300 back to put towards tires. what do you think about the trade? who do you think is getting the better end of the deal? what do i need to know about this truck?

If it's a 12v I would say deal is fair, but I would push for a complete truck inspection by a shop+tires

If it's a 24v, I would ask a little more money back and still get an inspection from dealer to check status of VP44, plus tires and extra cash.

You want too much for the Jeep with that many miles on it. I would lower the price of the jeep or go ahead and make the trade. An inspection on the Dodge wouldnt be a bad idea before the trade.
