Went and looked at a Ford today...

Don't get excited, I'm not crossing over. I stopped on the way back from Ga today, I've been wanting to check them out just for craps and giggles. I was looking at an 09 250 with the King Ranch package... 62k!!

So, I went and looked at a lesser version... 58K !!!

No thanks.

I was hoping to talk to a salesman to see when the 6.7 was coming out, but I guess that they did not want to sell anything today. I was out there for about 20 minutes walking around, and no one came out.

Maybe one day.

nah.

Not even close. I stopped at the Dodge dealership too, they only had one diesel. It was an 09 3500 dually, 2wd, SLT for 39,9. I think that the same truck over at the ford place was 57-58.

Ford is staying solvent on their own. How many dollars do you and I already have invested in the Dodge already???????

Dodges are costing nearly the same as the fords, look at a resistol one ton it stickers for over 60K and a laramie will run in the mid 50's. Not defending ford in any way, just stating that the dodges are priced outrageously also

But Dodge dealers will cut the price more than Ford dealers . Ford salesmen know anybody considering a Ford is a sucker with more money than sense. Dodge buyers are more shrewd businessmen

Thats why i built mine ! It was well worth the 2 year build and no monthly payments and no crazy insurance either!!! It was a crazy build and how nothing fit but it looks like it came like it when all was said and done. With alot of help from this website. Learned alot and it was fun cutting and welding and making things happen.
