used diesel pusher motorhomes seem cheap ?
I have been looking at used diesel pusher motorhomes lately on the internet.
They seem cheap?
Some low mileage 5.9 and 8.3 with Allison .
Are they that big of a potential money pit?
Seems like they get over 15 years old and the value drops like a rock.
Maybe hard to get insurance?

A lot of times those engines have been run infrequently, and serviced even more infrequently. A water intrusion, roof problem or plumbing leak can also cause huge $$$ damage.
That said, rv’s generally depreciate hugely in the first couple years, even when in excellent condition.
I’d just be looking for service records, and having a bonified diesel mechanic check the drivetrain, and an RV guy look over the unit before making a deal.
