I love mine so much that I treat it like the beast it is...
it stays outside 365 days a year, getting hot, cold, wet, snowy, sappy, & beat up with sticks that fall from the tree...
I carry heavy, dirty, hard things that make it dirty, and frequently put dents in it... I have dents in the tailgate, back of the cab and both rear quarter panels.. I have scrapes in the line-x as well.
I clean it about 6 times a year and vacuum it out once or twice a year...
I used to be a "replace the vehicle when it needs new tires" kind of guy, but this truck has me in a long term relationship :-)

I love my truck so much it is spoiled First it wanted a TST then it wanted nerf bars, then a box cover then a box liner, then a chrome grill, then it wanted bigger tires, then it wanted a exhaust brake, then it wanted a smarty, then it wanted 2 turbos, then it wanted bigger exhaust. It just goes on and on!!!
Come to think of it my truck is a pain in the rear

I love my truck so much......
If its 30 degrees or colder (been -30 lately), I not only keep my truck plugged in, not only have an oil pan heater going, I run a 75,000 BTU heater under the truck in the unheater garage for 2 hours before I even start it. Crazy, I know. If I need to make a short drive, she goes well out onto the highway to full 200 degree operating before she is shut down or parked. The truck has never had engine oil longer than 2500 miles. (Waistful and just plain stupid, I know) .......all the free Valvoline P. Blue I want from work and the used goes to good use... oil burner for work shop, so not that waistfull. Never missed a tank that wasn't treated with Stanadyne or Power Service. Try to tow a heavy load once every 2 months to keep injectors tips nice and shinny. Change the 2 Micron MK2 Filter every 2k miles, and the OEM Baldwin every 5k miles. This list goes on. I try to tell myself to treat the thing like a truck and to stop with this OCD I have, but I just can't get myself to do it. I know I have a serious problem here.

Instead of cranking my truck that has been sitting since 3 this afternoon in ~30 weather, I pushed it- by myself, up hill, on dirt, with a full tank of fuel, (in the snow both ways ) so I could shut my shed door. (I had pulled it close to do some maintenance...)

As for pushig it, that doesn't happen in the real cold. kinda need a Cummins to tur the wheels with the stiff/thick oil and grease.

If you guys thought so highly of your trucks you'd move to So Cal where it's 50 at night and 70's during the day. Why would you put your trucks through that cold weather?

California is the last place I would take my truck. Where I am at now I can leave my truck running and go in for dinner and it will still be sitting there when I get done.
