I remember Polaris used to have a diesel 4x4 ATV a few years ago. Only ever saw it once. I'd love to have a 4x4 with a diesel to go along with the race quad I want. But those toys shall have to wait until my truck is done.

Having owned an Arctic Cat since 98, I can atest that they are great machines. I was reading on an ATV forum that this isn't turbocharged? Would it be possible to put a turbo on something this small? I wonder how it will perform.

Heck ya, a turbo and big stix would get you a ride faster than some of the 2 cycle hot rod ATV's out there.

I think it has like 20 HP and 30 ft lbs. Imagine something like 60 or more HP and over 100ft lbs!

What a joke....9300 bucks, 17 horsepower, 830 lbs., and a top speed of 40mph. No thanks....Absolutly no fun there.

I think I'll stay with my 700 Polaris.. I rode one of the old Polaris diesels. Not really impressed, sluggish and heavy. It was designed and built for farmers that kept bulk fuel on the farm. I haven't had any luck out of Arctic Cats anyway. I'm 0-2 on keeping the engines alive.

My buddies told me the same thing when they bought V-10 Dodges and I got a Cummins. They told me it was way too much money, slooow, a dog even.

Looking back..........both of the V-10's are DOA and are now Slooooow compared to the Cummins. LOL

I'd imagine that this thing is mechanically injected so with that being said... I'm sure a few turns of some screws and it will be blowing black and hauling butt .
