oh yea, that pos torqueshift or what ever its called is one tough piece of machinery, that is why there is one huge recall out on them to get rebuilt, and that is why my buddies has already been rebuilt in his 04 after only towing like twice! Tranny award goes to allison, best all around engine goes to cummings. What the hell does ford have? lol I guess the outside looks ok but dang its getting old to look at. and have any of you ever smelled the exhaust of the new 6.0? It smells horrible!! Not to mention their cheap interiors with a/c vents that look like they should be in a civic, and a guage cluster that is the size of most peoples radio!

You have no idea.....I am at school right now ( in a business class) and I will tell you what, I about threw the keyboard out the window. That was the most retarded thread I ahve ever read. If ignorance is bliss, they MUST be orgasmic. i am sorry but i just want to cry...Well I might as well go take my "CUMMINGS" to ford for them to work on it, since they designed the injection system and fueling parameters and all that....

The dodge has a small simi motor in it....let compare it to a Ford with a simi motor in it...oh wait, they make those.....they have 6000TQ, and can pull 19+ tons

i had sympathy for poor Corky from "life goes on"...i have sympathy for the poor older gentleman who's new to trucks and is just looking for something to tow his horses around and has a bad 6.0 cause he wasnt informed....but i have no sympathy for those guys

If Ford fixed Dodge's fuel injection problem, then they must also own Bosch, which I guess means since all the BMW's I work on are full of their stuff, they must own BMW too........and if you follow that reasoning far enough (ow my head!), Ford is actually in control of the entire planet. That being said, it makes their truck even more pathetic since it gets its butt kicked by GM, and the only real truck builder out there, DODGE. I have to go sit down now, I think I just hurt my brain..........

Ford owned like 10% stock in dodge back in the 90's than sold it off because that's pretty imbarrasing(sp?) that the 2500 Cummins was making more power, more reliable, etc than the Ford. Second thats a huge conflict of interest thats like chevy investing in Ford??. Also Cummings in a independant contactor for Dodge that builds the diesel motors for them, dodge doesn't design the engine, just the shell they go in.

Ford is using a cummins engine in a newer model... question "WHY"? They invest millions on the 7.3, 6.0, and now a 6.4 but still are going to take a Cummins in their new test fleet come 07? Logic please. How would that sound, hi I would like to test drive the new ford cummins... cummins is wrapped with Dodge like maggots to ****.
