airtabs, stability and fuel econemy

so recently i bought and installed airtabs from airtabs.com. i looked at them for over 2 years before i bought them. i was very sceptical for most of that time. it has only been 4 days and so far what i have notised my truck is alot more stable, and accelorats much easyer at highway speeds. the other thing is i havent cleaned my back window of my bed shell since and can still see out of it. we have alot of water on the road with the snow melting and more snow and so on. i will post updates as far as fuel econemy next time i fill. i will be takeing a 7000 mile road trip in 5 weeks and realy hope this pays off!

What would be the rational for better fuel economy?

jsemeraro 04-07-2010 10:45 PM

the rational of better fuel econemy, save money!!! we are paying over $3.50 agalon for fuel up here. with driving from anchorage to seattle, then to flagstaff az, then ft lenard wood mo, then CT ill take every increase in econemy i can! most ppl that run air tabs are claiming 6%.

ok so the pics, i havent washed my truck since just b4 adding the tabs. so the pic of the back of my truck is what it looks like today after driving over 150 miles on wet roads from melting snow. the paint of the web sight was done the day i added the tabs as well!

I understand the wish for better fuel economy. Why do you think airbags will achieve that wish? Just wondering....I'm all for it

jsemeraro 04-08-2010 12:27 AM

ok, well ill let you check out the website couse there is alot to explain! www.airtabs.com

annabelle 04-08-2010 12:49 AM

Thanks.....I misunderstood as to what they were......hope you have success. I will be eager to read your results.

jsemeraro 04-08-2010 03:15 AM

its ok, i do the same thing a lot.

annabelle 04-08-2010 03:24 AM

Well don't admit it. I mistook airtabs for airbags. Guess it would have helped to look at your pics.

jsemeraro 04-08-2010 03:28 AM

no i really do do things like that all the time! but its ok.
