Sterling Trucks
Has anyone heard of these trucks? Are they made by Dodge or Daimler?

Sterling stopped making new trucks March 2009. Division originally formed from Ford Heavy truck division after purchase by Damlier. Added the Dodge 4500/5500 series to the lineup since Damlier owned Chrysler at the time.

Sterling is a division of Freight Liner who is owned by Chrysler..
Dodge had no exp. in the class 4 & 5 truck market so they co-engineered it with Sterling, the frames for the trucks (both Dodge and Sterling) were produced at the Sterling plant. the actual assembly took place south of the boarder with the rest of our trucks. The only difference between the trucks (other than the options packaging) was the grill and the insert in the steering wheel.. Like posted Sterling is no more however parts are supposed to be available through the Sterling dealership for another 10 yrs.
I have a collectors item that is not paid for!
