Question so i really wander if fuel magnets will work like they say....

well i figured what the who... i bought one of these today....
Fuel Magnets
for 20 bux i figure i'll see if it helps any.... a friend of mine sell another brand of these through his repair shop and get's over $300 installed for them.... but i have seen documented proof on his... he did his 2002 cheby taho... he now gets the same milage in town he was getting on the highway.... so i'm gonna install it prolly tomorrow afternoon and once the truck is finished being repainted, door handles shaved, and stacks installed pics will be available and i'll have some proof or i'll tell you if it is really a waste of money....

please excuse my ignorance, but.. *** is a fuel magnet? how will it increase your mileage? by removing ferrous material in your go juice?

Popular Mechanics had an article on these fuel saving devices a few months ago and every one of them was a scam. I think that the fuel maginets were part of it.

There is a news station that investigates stuff like this. They actually did a test run on it to see how well this one worked. I have attached the clip. I am always skepitical of things that sound to good to be true, but this may work. Not just if I trust it just yet.

I got one of the magnets, not from harbor freight but from the video above, to see how well it works. Nothing conclusive just yet. Will give an update if there is one to be given.
