Looks like fun, now all I have to do is find a bus and a track that will let us run buses.

Those Bluebird's they were racing might be 5.9 equipped. The one I used to take to school was 5.9 equipped, way back in elementary school. I liked it because it had the turbo whistle...

They do Figure 8's and "Trains" here at the local track,
don't see why they wouldn't allow busses.

For those that don't know what a "train" is:

Take 3 cars.
First car has an engine and an accelerator pedal, no brakes.
Middle car is just a shell of a car, usually pinto sized.
End car has brakes, no engine.

Chain them all together, put a driver in the front and rear car, then race 6 of these trains around a figure 8 track.

Last one standing wins.
Race track usually gets very beat up.

Never heard of "trains" before.

That sounds like ridiculous fun.

Never seen three cars but have seen chain racing with two. Surely woudn't wanna be the guy in the brake car. They get to whipping that rear rig around like a mace and clobbering everything in their path. Very entertaining.

That was pretty boaring compared to what we have here. usually 12-15 busses. Most have gassers though, one guy got disqualified for converting a diesel to gas on labor day. Had one guy trying to flip and was very close several times on front stretch. Love to put my bombed motor and smoke the rest of em. They can't win if they can't see where they are going right? Lucas Oil on the Edge is a race show that has some cool stucc like this.
