Well i have been handed down the old 81 mercedes diesel 240d car.

im excited to not be putting so many communting miles on my CTD. The car is a high mileage car and needs a few small things, glow plugs, etc. I was wondering if any of you guys know of good merecedes diesel forums, or sites i can get information about them? i would like to test running bio diesel on this car as well so the more info the better. thanks in advance for any help.

 

I've never looked for MB forums before. I've had two 240Ds and one 300SD all of them great cars. There's a good used parts place I've been using for years called Potomac German Auto. (http://www.pgauto.com) These cars get decent mileage too.

That a little high. I average around 25-28. I don't think that's to bad considering how old the cars are.
