Rear Fuel Filter?

I'm looking and thinking the rear fuel/water separator filter on the 2019 Cummins trucks may have changed from the previous spin-on. It looks like the manual shows a canister type filter/separator and talks about unscrewing the lid like the front filter. Has anyone crawled under there and taken a look?

Yes, the 2019 Cummins trucks have a canister-type fuel/water separator filter instead of the previous spin-on type. The manual shows it’s a canister that you unscrew from the lid, similar to the front filter. If you crawl under the truck, you should be able to see the canister and confirm this. It’s a bit different from the earlier models, so it’s good to check if you plan to replace it yourself.
