General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Rattlinram instead of locking the thread about "Buyer Beware" why didnt you remove it altogether?

I know if it was my names up in lights like that other fellas , my lawyer would be talking to this site.

I notice as soon as I started sticking up for the guy the thread got locked?
Nice moderating...........hes still being called a crook but no one can respond to it.

That guy apparently treats all potential buyers of his stuff the same way. I have read posts from many unhappy buyers. Everyone SHOULD be able to see the thread even though it has been locked. I can't tell you how many similar posts I have seen where the seller "Claims" family issues or or a death or something like that. It happened to my buying something on E-Bay and I eventually found that the guy had been lying about the whole deal. He eventually refunded my money but not after a bunch of aggravation....

A little insight for you. The decision to move a thread is ours, your opinion does not count.

Call your lawyer, who cares. The burden of proof is on you.

Did it ever cross your mind that the thread might have been closed because he had been beat up enough. There a thought. You standing up for the guy has no bearing on it, it was done, it had run long enough for everyone involved to have a say.

Maybe it had something to do with the childish way you were acting towards other members? Just to give you a heads up since you seem surprised about the other thread but this one will probably get locked too.

Probably right. I didn't see the thread as it was occurring, but I did via a search.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaa so he had to wait for a bit?
That means he deserves to get the part for free?

Because he wants every one to be able to read it, and know what is going on, but does not want the childish comments from other members.

We run a pretty low key site here. We don't like a lot of drama.

If you don't like the way we do things, I will be happy to refund your membership fees.

Next time you're disrespectful to an administrator on the open forums like this, I'll do it without you asking me to.

Feel free to PM me if you like, but this one is done.

BINGO!

My only regret was not locking it after the 2nd post of the thread starter.

Had I removed it all together,,,,, I'm sure someone would have griped about that also. At least the members can see that the original poster's problem was resolved.
