Your right, it's a 3.5 inch pipe from the turbo to, I think, the muffler, on mine.

I wish I would have picked up a 4 inch elbow when I changed mine, and used the '04.5 4" pipe. Then the ex brake would be in a bigger housing

The exhaust brake replaces the elbow (at least the Jacobs ex brake does). I got my truck in Nov 02 and the ex brake became available in Canada in late Jan of 03 and I bought it and installed it myself. When to 04.5 came out the ex brake had a full 4" outlet.
