Im gonna be putting some parts on craigs list soon. I have an E-6 300hp engine, its an 86 with 600+k on it. Runs strong. I have the tranny which is a 9 speed maxedyne. A 14ft dump body steel 56 inch sides, air gate, the driver front corner is banged up a little, over all its in fair condition. Im shure there is some one here with some knowledge of round about prices for those kinda parts. I appreciate the help.

About $2500 for the engine and about $3500 for the trans. If they are in good shape of course.

How come the trans is worth more than the engine?

More demand is what my man told me. Evidently folks tear up the transmissions more so than the engines which makes the demand higher? He also said the 9spd is a very sought after trans also for some reason.
