p-pump conversion
p-pump conversion
From what i understand when you do a p-pump conversion to a 24 valve you lose the drivability of the truck. What about in a race application. Can a p-pump supply more fuel then a VP-44. If so a comparision. i am asking all this because i cant afford to bomb my daily driver and then have it down for repairs. So i am going to try and buy just a toy truck. One more thing has there been a 5.9 cummins over 1000 horsepower.
The p-pump will flow more fuel than the vp could ever dream of. Also, not all p-pump conversions are undriveable. There are members on here that daily drive theirs. I did see one at the dyno this past saturday that laid down 793hp but it would barely run. LOTS and LOTS of timing on that truck.
