One Stack Wonder

Saw a 4-door F-250 with a 6.0 today on the highway..... had one stack just offset from the center, towards the passenger side (between frame rail and driveshaft)..... He got me up to speeds faster than I should have been going while towing what I was towing...... forgot too look at my speed..... He seemed to run out of power around 85-90 (sputtering and slowing) .... does that seem normal for a ford?

Just thought his stack was interesting and strange....

Unless the idiot tried to tap a pyro hole and ended up running the tap throught the turbo after it broke off. lets just say 10 Pounds of boost and not turbo noise makes for a bad day on my buddys new 6.0

His speedlimiter was at those speeds. With a box, they are a force to be dealt with. I know Ricki Palmer has one, and its wicked.

Bill anderson...guy with worlds fastest single turbo grand national (in the 7's now i believe) runs his tow behicle at cecil raceway here in MD...its a 04 4 door dually 2x4 ford with a 6.0l powerchoke with full 5" exhaust (6 or 7" tip...its huge) and a banks 6-gun bundle i believe...that particular tuner doesnt remove the speed limiter and that 7600lbs truck has run a 14.7 at 94 bouncing off the speed limiter so yea without the limiter removed...they are a beast up to 95

I ran a pretty hopped up 6.0 a couple months ago... white crew cab long bed jacked up sitting on some 20" wheels, huge stainless tip, gauges, etc. very nice lookin' rig. we were dead even to about 95-100ish. now I know why! quickest truck I've run into yet. if it had been a little single cab 2wd, it woulda been ugly!
