about ten years ago we converted a big turbo to a turbine-engine and used it to speed up a turbo on our dieseltruck. this was really awsome, we got 49 psi boost, even when engine was shut off!! sound like jet engine out of a truck...it was very scary and definetly not a daily driver!!!!!

 

You converted the turbo into an engine, then used that engine to spool up the turbo on the truck?

Details... How much horsepower dows it take to make 50 PSI of boost off of a turbo? Anybody got those figures?


If you don't want lag just get one of them "belt-driven turbo chargers".
