Newbie questions

Just bought my first diesel...1995 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9 12v Cummins. I’m a little confused on fuel additives, for anti-gelling and cetane boost. What do you guys recommend? Also, at what temps should I start plugging the truck in overnight?

My 2001.5 gets this: Power Service white bottle mixed per instructions on bottle each fill up...cetane don't care, lubrication properties main reason I use this.
Power Service red bottle in bed box just in case it gets gelled or really cold...doesn't really around here.
I start plugging in, on a timer to save money, when temps get around 40 or below overnight. Timer comes on at 0300 and I usually leave by 0600, warm enough to keep quiet and unfog windows....

Other good additives are Howe's, Redline and Lucas
