New product

Just seen a new product advertised. Do not need it myself, but seriously wonder if this product will really do what it claims and even if it is worth the price. For a fraction of the purchase price it would be far cheaper to throw out the entire contents of the fuel tank and fill up with fresh fuel.
What do you guys think?

How long are these people leaving the vehicle set? I've fired up a truck after 10 years of sitting in a field and it's still running today.

Waste of money IMO.

A lot of the big trucking outfits and shops use a fuel polishing device similar to the one in the link to maintain their fuel.
Difference is theirs are 110 volt powered units on wheels that treat ten times the amount of fuel per hour and cost ten times more to buy.
Seems like a good idea every ten years or so to remove accumulated contaminants in the tank that definitely build up over time.

It is just more gadgets and the cost is prohibitive. Diesel fuel quality today is generally better than the past with less chance of water contamination due to frac processes. Tractors and machinery have sat for long periods with no problems. If you want to clean the fuel tank you can do a better job that this thing. Just sayn.
