Need Some Good Advice
Hello Everyone,
I have a problem with a ambulance I just purchased for a small business that I have started. I use the truck as a work and tow vehicle for a Bob Cat. The ambulance is a F350 and weighs over 10000lbs.,we got Virginia WT tags for 12100-17000lbs because we were told to because of towing the trailer. We work anywhere on the East Coast that is within 500 miles of VA.We stopped at a weigh in MD and got tore up. NO DOT,NO LOG BOOK, NO MEDICAL and on and on.Is there any way to register the truck any not have to go through the weigh station and still tow the trailer.I see plenty of pickups towing and not stopping at the weigh station. We thought of making it a personal vehicle with NOT FOR HIRE on the side;but it is still over the weight limit for Maryland and other states as well.
Any help would sure be appreciated.
Thanks
