What about the companies like Deka that have a Lead smelter where they recycly 100% of the entire junk batteries that comes in? They use pure Lead for one plate and Lead Oxide for the other plate, which they make onsite. Not only do they make auto and truck batteries but also bateries for electric pallet jacks, forklifts, underground mining equipment, Cat and the military. For as large Deka is it is still a family owned business. Keith
