Question MMO and Power Service Advice/Questions

Got a question for you guys and need a little advice. I've seen numerous post on this topic, so excuse me if I repeat anything in this one. I finally broke down and got a gallon of both. (MMO/PS) I looked for the silver bottle of Power Service, but it was only available in the white bottle. I was told this is preferred for winter use. (Is this correct?) I've also read most use the silver bottle. If so, why? What is the difference in the two? I've seen in many post that folks are mixing Power Service @ 8, 12 and 16oz. What seems to be the most correct mixture for 34-35 gallons? 12 oz's of MMO is correct from my calculations, so I have no questions about that. Next, it states on the MMO bottle you can use/mix 1 qrt in your oil, any of you try this yet? Just wondering, because I have not read any post on this one yet.
Thanks for any info.

Silver bottle contains more cetane boost, which I think is the REAL key for improved MPG...Most guys mix is actually a double-dose of silver PS...Hence increased cetane, for better effiiciency and mileage..

I am using the white bottle flavor, less cetane boost, but contains anti-gel....

I use 16oz, filling when I reach 1/4 tank...This gives me about 3/4 dose for each product...

I'm getting 20mpg 15 city/20 highway

Even though I'm not running a box, my big concern in lubricity, for the fuel pumps....Trial and error till you find something you like

Yep White bottle is winter use, contains anti gel. I use 16 oz mix at every fill up, even if i fill up at a half tank. may be a little over board. I use 12 oz PS to 4 oz MMO. May try more of one or the other but haven't decided yet

I decided to run MMO and PS @ 12 oz's each. Definitely adds a good smell to the exhaust. (I love the smell of pre-mixed exhaust ) Still debating on using a qrt in my oil though. Put about 30 miles on it since yesterday afternoon. I'll be looking for any noticeable changes in engine performance and efficiency as I put a few more miles on it.

You know I put in a MMO/PS mix last fill up. I thought I was smelling MMO, even ck`ed my "mix" bottle to be sure it was capped tight. Funny, it does`nt take alot of MMO to be able to smell it, and I thought I was going nuts

I think herrin821 is onto something. I used the mmo/ps white bottle and noticed no difference in MPG. The silver bottle should increase MPG by itself, I know I have use the silver bottle in the past and did get increased MPG but was also told that you have to use the fuel within a short time to see the increase and found that to be true too.

I noticed the smell right off the bat. So no you're not going . Got out of the truck and was like man who just rode a 2 smoker through here. Guess after years of premixing, my sense of smell is pretty good.
