Well I dropped the back end 3.2 inchs....Couldn't finish it,the shop gave me the wrong U-clamps(to short)...I should of measured the driveshaft before I started...Not sure what the min travel of the driveshaft should be..With the shaft all the way in the trans,the distance from the u-joint to the rearend pinon is about 4 inchs...Going to get a accuarte measement on Friday...

Ok....Here is part one of the lowering of my truck..I just lowered the back 3.5 inchs so far..Nothing yet done to the front...I thought I was nose high,but I've measured it several times,and the front is 1/2 lower than the back..Sure doesn't look that way.Sure rides nicer now..235X85 tires all around..

I think you need to drop it about an inch in the front. If you are on level ground, does your box rail look level? Looks slanted to the rear in the pics, but that could just be the angle of the picture.

Cool.....

I put the rear air bags in....works good.Even the min 10 PSI leveled things out..Still have to do the 1/2 coil cut in front...That will be later...
