Lower My Rpm?

Is there anything i can do to lower my RPMS!!!

Change the rear end ratio from 3.73 to 3.55 or even lower. But then I don´t know which aftermarket ratios are available.
More expensive would be an overdrive unit from US Gear or Gear Vendors.
Bigger tires would make the truck look really nice though. I think that would be the only possibilities to reduce rpm.

taller tire

I found a set of 285's/E rated that are about an inch taller, would that lower the RPMS enough to be worth it?

Hey Shovelhead i tried the moving the seat back two clicks and my truck is still running a high RPM any more suggestions?

The Mod is a little complicated.. But if you pull the gauge cluster apart and turn the tach clockwise about 10 degrees... it will lower the RPMS about 500-900 RPM's
It will sound the same and the speedo won't chage a bit... but you will feel better about driving 80!
