Well it's a 6 cylinder so it's not a 1l, or 2l series motor. So it's either a 1H, 12H, 2H or 1HZ

....and here's some toyotal diesel info for anyone interested.

I wanted to swap a diesel into an old yota pickup for awhile, but never for the project off the ground.

Yep - early '90's LC imported from Japan to Canada. But not legal for import to the US until it's 25 years old...

You think the engine is tuff you ought to try and identify the radiator. How about snapping a pic of it.

Hundreds of little Ninja monkeys keep coming to mind when I think of service technicians.

Here is a truck I looked at a few months ago, it was a nice looking truck and I was trying to figure out how I could remove the intercooler without anyone noticing but there too many people kept stopping by and looking at it.

This is a 2008 F450 4x4 DRW Crew Cab

If someone gave me one of these trucks, heck yes I would take it.
There are actually a lot of these trucks driving around here in Southern California, and most of the drivers are younger than me.

I did like the idea of the vents on the fenders to let the heat out or for an air intake.

$60,340.00

When I got married you could but 3 four bedroom houses for that price.

Jim

Jim Lane, in the second to last picture you can see the tranny cooler, ac condensor and just the tip of the power steering cooler (all behind the intercooler), so then what is the black colored cooler mounted to the right of the intercooler in the second picture? Oil cooler maybe?

Was talking to a guy with the F-150 and even he said that was hard to work on,thats no even talking about the special tools need to change the plugs.

My 87 F-150 so far has been the best one I ever worked on as far as room, can even check the PS fluid and not bump into anything, the second would have to be the 79 T-Bird I had.

Yes I was a Ford guy but prices on them forced me into a Dodge.

BTW Jim you can still get that size house around were I live for that price, heck my used Dodge cost more then some houses around here.

Did anybody notice the part on the factory sticker that says "fuel economy ratings not required on this vehicle", a friend of mines dad has an 08' 350 that he uses for his excavating business and he said he gets 10mpg out of it on avg, the best being 11mpg(all highway) and the worst being 7mpg(loaded) Thats awful. It just makes my old 20mpg cummins look better and better everyday

The truth about the mighty(ahem) 6.4 powerstroke

Ford must have placed all that piping, hoses, etc. to make their new engine quiet.......No......They put it there so when it comes time to scrap the engine after 100,000 miles it's easier to recycle the aluminum.......No........Hey, they really wanted the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy so they got Chewbacca to design the motor!!!!......I mean seriously what a mess!!!!!!
