I would like to replace the fuel filter on my 6.2 diesel with something decent & accessible.
Any recomendations and how to's would be appreciated.
I haven't gotten into eliminating the filter block that the current box filter attaches to.
Thanks

What's the issue with the stock one?

Do you have the square filter or the spin on one?

I added a filter to my 6.5 when I had that. I just used a racor marine filter. Marine filters are pretty universal and quite easy to mount and plumb in. At least on the 6.5, there were a few fittings in the steel fuel lines where I could tap in. If you run the new filter on the tank side of the old one, you can leave the old one in there and you just won't have to change it as often.

What? You don't like laying on top of the engine with the hood latch digging into your gut? Vulcan Performance has universal spin-on kits for pretty reasonable prices.
