Ford pays the dealership to fill up all new vehicles when they sale them, so if the guy did indeed have just 200 miles on his brand new truck, and he was already running B99, then the dealer is at fault, and should pay.

Magnuson Moss... You can put all the crap you want on your truck, run any fuel, oil or filter you want and they can't void the warranty.

You can pull into the dealer with a bombed, nitrous charged CTD and they can't void the warranty because of it. UNLESS they can show that whatever you did or did besides their recommendations damaged the vehicle you are covered. Now the question comes to do you want to fight it? You can't go after treble damages etc...

He was able to show that his B99 didn't damage the vehicle so he was fine. No reason to get mad at the guy.

I DON'T BELIEVE THAT STORY!!!!
Why would you need to fill up your brand new truck with only 200 miles on it?
And he grew up on a farm and uses it on all the machinery, it's an entirely different animal with all the emission junk on it.
I think those trucks are junk too, but that story is Fiction.

I believe that he had to fill it up. Got my 07 2 weeks ago and as I pulled out of the dealers lot the low fuel warning lignt came on. Ended up putting almost 30 gallons of fuel in it just to get home. If Dodge gives the dealer money to fill up the truck this dealer didn't follow the rules...Cost me almost $100 to get truck fille dup.
