Hey! Heavy Equpiment Operators!!
I was an Equipment Operator in the Navy for 7 years. Does that count? I've run cranes on a floating drydock for submarines at Point Loma, Ca. LGP D8s in Antartica with pony motors, 950 loader with Detroit Diesel engines mounted on an extended frame for powering a hydraulic pump for a snowblower. Keith

I use to run 2 articulated Payloaders at an old job. One was an IN Hough 100 payloader and the other was a Kawasaki 75z. The old Hough had some power behind it but everything on was worn out and gave a very rough ride. work great for doing the big and dirty jobs. The Kawasaki was smaller, easier to manuver, had a better ride, and it was powered by a 175 hp 12 5.9 Cummins. Nice machine but it was limited to certain jobs when the Hough could be used for more. Also ran a few Case 580 and Ford 555 Backhoes, a pony start D2 with a hydaulic blade, couple old Oliver tracked loaders, a Hitachi and John Deere excavator (some call it a trackhoe), and a bunch of various farm tractors and equipment.
read my NAME started servicing 988CATS when i was 17 . Been in the landfill biz for 22 years and am now a general manager for the 2 nd largest waste company in the U.S. Funny thing is I unlike most my counterparts actually got my start operating .

I've been running Yellow Iron for a bit over 10 years now and have run any loader, dozer, backhoe and excavator Cat has made just about. About the only 2 things I don't do are scrapers and cranes.
