"Helicopter seed" fell into engine
I was replacing my valve cover gaskets and while i was cleaning around the edge of any dirt one of those seens that fall and spin fell down where the push rod goes.... i tried using one of those rods with the claw at the end but that got nothing. I dont know how bad this is(or if its bad) i dont know if it will scrape the cam or just fall in the oil pan and get stuck in the oil filter. I havnt started it yet(waiting on my new starter to arrive) but i want to know if i should do something or just let it be...

Trees from the Maple family have seeds like that. Fun to play with as a kid but not good in the motor.
It should get chewed up pretty easily but I'd be worried about it or the debris plugging an oil passage.
Could you try blowing it out with compressed air? Or introducing compressed air while going at it with a shop vac?
