General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Have you completely stopped driving your truck?

Mine is parked. Only time I drive it is to go pick up the kids or if I have to haul something. I average ~500 miles/week. I save around 500 a month buy not driveing my pickup.

I work 4 10's and live .7 miles from work. In the winter, the truck idled in the driveway longer than I drove it!

The tank lasts a month, so I'm not worried about high fuel costs right now. I joyride around town a couple times a week too.

I ride my bike and walk more now. However, I also invested in oil companies and alternative energy companies - not refineries. The son of a guns have been paying for my diesel
